Russ Hewitt “North of Home” featuring Larry Carlton, from the album ‘Cielo Nocturno’

For the first time in 20 years, guitar legend Larry Carlton plays on a nylon string guitar for Russ Hewitt’s song “North of Home.”

Known as Mr.335, the 4-time Grammy winner blends perfectly with Russ’s style for a great groovin’ tune.

The all-star backing band features percussionist Raphael Padilla (Miami Sound Machine, Chris Isaak), drummer Walfredo Reyes Jr. (Santana, Steve Winwood, Chicago), bass player Bob Parr (Cher, Barry White) and guitarist Alfredo Caceres (Gipsy Kings All-Stars.)

The recording was mastered by Chris Bellman who has worked with Van Halen, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and Elton John.

“North of Home” was on the album ‘Cielo Nocturno’ which made the ballot in three categories for the 59th Grammy Awards and won the silver medals from the Global Music Awards.
